Description
The Sonoran Desert is my home. My family and I see baby Quail in our backyard and we love the way the daddy Quail perches up to watch over his babies scurry along the desert floor following their mom. The painting is part of my "Through Her Eyes" series. It is inspired by the way my 4 year old daughter perceives the world around her with a sense of wonder, intrigue and enthusiasm. I wanted to portray the desert in it's most alive and vibrant state. My family and I love hiking in the spring time when the desert is teeming with wildflowers and wildlife. It is a sight to be treasured!
