This is a collection inspired by the way my four year old daughter perceives the world around her with wonder, enthusiasm and intrigue. Her peaceful perspective gives me a sense of hope in trying times.
My name is Ashley Lane and I am a professional artist. Art and creating is an innate desire of mine. It will always be a constant pursuit. I love the process, from start to finish, and how it evolves in between. I grew up in Singapore, where my Father was an international businessman and my Mother owned her own artisan boutique. I was immersed in culture different than my own, and it was truly inspiring and impactful. I grew up amongst people from all walks of life, selling their beautiful, handmade trades. This way of life, and the beauty in it always appealed to me. My artwork varies based on what is inspiring me at the moment. I find beauty in music, nature, animals, film, design and color. I have a deep love for portraits...
